Alright, let’s talk about them best freeze dried meals, you know, the kind you take when you’re out in the sticks, no McDonald’s around.

First off, you gotta look at the calories. When it’s cold out, you burn more energy than a squirrel burying nuts. You need grub that’s gonna stick to your ribs, somethin’ with at least 300, maybe even 500, of them calorie things per serving. Don’t go skimpin’ on the food, or you’ll be shiverin’ and starvin’ faster than a stray dog in winter.

Then there’s the protein and fat. Them’s important too. You can’t just eat sugar all day, or you’ll crash harder than a clumsy cow. You need somethin’ that’ll keep you goin’, like them beans and meat. I ain’t no doctor, but I know you need a good mix of stuff to stay strong.

  • Look for meals with plenty of meat, like chicken or beef. That’ll keep you full and give you energy.
  • Beans are good too, they fill you up and keep things movin’, if you know what I mean.
  • Don’t forget about the veggies! Even dried up, they’re still good for you, though I ain’t never been much for ‘em myself.

Now, let’s talk about taste. Some of this freeze dried stuff tastes like cardboard, no matter how much water you pour on it. You gotta find somethin’ you can actually stomach. I like them meals with gravy or sauce. Makes it easier to swallow and fills you up a bit more.

Price is another thing to think about. These things ain’t cheap, you know? You don’t wanna spend your whole life savings on food that tastes like dirt. Look for deals, buy in bulk if you can, and don’t be afraid to try different brands. Sometimes the cheaper stuff is just as good.

And don’t forget about the packaging. You want somethin’ that’s tough and won’t tear open in your pack. Them little pouches are good, but make sure they’re sealed tight. Nothin’ worse than findin’ your food all spilled out when you’re hungry as a bear.

Another thing is how easy it is to cook. When you’re out in the woods or up a mountain, you don’t wanna be fussin’ around with a bunch of pots and pans. You want somethin’ you can just add hot water to and eat. The simpler, the better, I always say.

Now, some folks like them fancy meals with all sorts of ingredients. Me, I like to keep it simple. Meat, potatoes, maybe some veggies, that’s all you need. Don’t go gettin’ all fancy out in the wilderness, ain’t nobody there to impress, just you and the bears, and you don’t want to impress the bears.

And speaking of bears, make sure you store your food properly. Hang it up in a tree or put it in a bear canister. You don’t want no critters getting into your grub. A hungry bear is a dangerous bear, and you don’t want to mess with them.

Finally, try different meals before you go on your trip. Don’t wait until you’re out in the middle of nowhere to find out you don’t like what you packed. Buy a few different kinds and try them at home. That way, you know what you’re gettin’ into and you won’t be stuck eatin’ somethin’ you hate.

So, there you have it. My advice on them best freeze dried meals. Just remember, calories, protein, fat, taste, price, packaging, easy to cook, and safe storin’. Get all that right, and you’ll be eatin’ good no matter where you are.

One last thing, don’t forget a good spoon or fork. Nothin’ worse than havin’ good food and no way to eat it. And maybe a little hot sauce too, just to spice things up a bit. Now get out there and enjoy the great outdoors, but don’t forget to pack your grub!
