I learned that the best days to shop are Thursday through Sunday if you want the widest selection. And they get their seafood straight from the docks in Brunswick County every single day, so you know it’s gotta be fresh. I was impressed! It was cool to see how they get their stuff right from the local fishermen. It’s like, from the boat to your plate, you know?
I grabbed some shrimp and oysters. The shrimp were plump and juicy, and the oysters, man, they were something else. North Carolina oysters have this unique flavor thing going on.
