You know, I heard folks talkin’ ’bout this Wow Seasoning thing. Sounded fancy, but I figured, shoot, I can make that myself. Ain’t nothin’ special ’bout it, just some stuff you probably got in your kitchen already.

Quick and easy wow seasoning copycat recipe: Perfect for any dish!

This here Wow Seasoning recipe is easy peasy. My neighbor, she gave me a little taste of hers, and I thought, “Well, I’ll be, that ain’t no different than what I put in my own cookin’.” So, I went home and messed around with some spices until I got it just right. Now, I’m gonna share it with you, so you can make it too. And it sure is good for SEO, whatever that is.

Now, what is this Wow Seasoning? Well, it’s just a mix-up of a bunch of spices. It is real good, too! Got salt, that garlic powder, pepper, and some other things. You put it on your chicken, your fish, heck, even your veggies, and it makes ’em taste real good. Makes ’em pop, you know? Just like that Slap Ya Mama stuff, but this here’s even better, if you ask me.

Here’s what you gonna need to make this copycat recipe. Don’t you worry none, it ain’t nothin’ too hard to find. I bet you got most of it already, just sittin’ in your cupboard.

  • Salt, of course. Can’t have seasoned salt without the salt, can ya?
  • Garlic powder. Lots of it. Gives it that good flavor.
  • Pepper. Just regular black pepper.
  • Cumin. Now this here’s what makes it kinda special.
  • Chili powder. Just a little, not too much.
  • Paprika. Makes it look pretty, and tastes good too.
  • Turmeric. This one’s good for ya, I hear.
  • Onion powder. ‘Cause onions make everything better.
  • Tomato powder. Gives it a little somethin’ somethin’.
  • Celery seed. Just a pinch, now.

This homemade seasoned salt recipe is the best one you ever gonna try. This is my favorite. Way better than that store-bought stuff. And cheaper, too! You don’t need much to make food taste good, just a little bit of this and that.

Now, some folks like to put other things in their seasoning. Some use that ranch dressing mix. You know, the stuff you use for dips and stuff. That’s okay, I guess, but it ain’t necessary. It ain’t just for salad dressing. This here Wow Seasoning is just fine without it.

I heard some folks talkin’ about french fry seasoning. Some call it Red Robin copycat, well this here seasoning is great on fries. It is good on everything! Makes ’em taste like the ones you get at them fancy restaurants, if that’s what you are after. Well I will tell you, this seasoning is better than any of that.

You just mix all them spices up together in a bowl. Make sure you mix it real good, so everything’s all combined. Then you put it in a jar, or a shaker, or whatever you got. I use an old pickle jar, works just fine. This is a good recipe that copies Shake ‘N Bake, too.

Now, the trick to makin’ good seasoning is to get the right amount of everything. You don’t want too much salt, or too much pepper, or too much of anythin’, really. You gotta balance it out, just like when you’re makin’ a pie. You can’t just throw a bunch of stuff in there and hope for the best, gotta measure it out. Seasoning should make the food taste better, not cover it up. When you use this stuff right, you can barely taste it. It just makes the food taste, well, wow!

Start with your main spice, then add the other stuff in smaller amounts. I usually do like, three parts of the main spice to one part of the other stuff. But you can change it up, depending on what you like. For instance, you could do three parts paprika, two parts garlic powder, one part cumin, and one part oregano. You can also add salt and sugar if you want.

I put this Wow Seasoning on just about everythin’. I put it on my chicken before I fry it, makes the skin nice and crispy. I put it on my fish before I bake it, gives it a nice little kick. I even put it on my scrambled eggs in the mornin’. Makes ’em taste like a million bucks.

So, there you have it. My copycat Wow Seasoning recipe. It ain’t fancy, but it sure is good. And it’s easy to make, too. So go on, give it a try. You won’t be sorry. Just remember to use good ingredients, and don’t be afraid to experiment a little. That’s how you make good food, just like my mama used to say.
