Okay, so yesterday I decided to finally check out this breakfast spot I’d been hearing about in Gig Harbor. You know, the one everyone’s been raving about. Figured it was time to see what all the fuss was about.

First off, getting there was pretty easy. Gig Harbor is a nice drive, even on a Saturday morning. Found the place without any trouble – it’s kinda tucked away, but the signs are clear. Parking? That was a bit of a pain, ngl. Had to circle around the block a couple of times before I snagged a spot. But hey, good food is worth a little bit of effort, right?
Got inside, and the place was buzzing! Pretty packed, but not uncomfortably so. There was a short wait, maybe like 15 minutes? Used that time to check out the menu. Lots of interesting stuff – classic breakfast stuff, but with some twists. I was eyeing the Benedicts, but also tempted by the pancakes. Decisions, decisions!
Finally got seated at a cozy little table by the window. The waitress was super friendly, took my order right away. I ended up going with the Crab Cake Benedict. Sounded too good to pass up. Also got a coffee, because, duh. Gotta have coffee with breakfast.
The coffee came out quick, and it was good! Strong, but not bitter. Exactly what I needed. And then, the Benedict… oh man. It looked amazing. Perfectly poached eggs, hollandaise sauce drizzled all over, and those crab cakes looked crispy and delicious.
First bite? Heaven. The crab cakes were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The eggs were perfectly cooked – the yolk oozed out just right. And the hollandaise sauce was creamy and tangy. Everything just worked together perfectly.
Honestly, it was one of the best Benedicts I’ve had in a long time. I pretty much devoured the whole thing. Every bite was just as good as the first. Definitely worth the wait and the parking hassle.
After I finished eating, I just sat there for a few minutes, enjoying the atmosphere and letting my food digest. The place had a really nice vibe – kinda cozy and relaxed. People were chatting and laughing, and the staff were all friendly and efficient.

Paid my bill, thanked the waitress, and headed out. Feeling totally satisfied and happy. Definitely going back there again sometime soon. Maybe next time I’ll try those pancakes… or maybe just get another Benedict!
Overall: Definitely a thumbs up. Great food, good coffee, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere. If you’re ever in Gig Harbor and looking for a good breakfast spot, I highly recommend checking it out.
