Alright, so I finally got around to trying out the Lemon Cookies strain I’d been hearing a bit about. Been curious for a while, you know how it is, always looking to see what’s out there. Managed to get some from a reliable spot, decided to give it a proper go one evening when I had nothing else planned.

First Look and Sniff
Opened it up, and man, the smell hit me right away. It’s definitely got that strong citrus thing going on, really lemony, but also kinda sweet and earthy underneath, like actual baked cookies. Looked pretty nice too. The buds were decently dense, covered in those little crystals, nice light green color with some orange hairs poking out. Looked appealing, gotta say.
Getting it Ready
So, I took a couple of buds out. They felt a little sticky, which is usually a good sign in my book. Ground it up pretty easily. The smell got even stronger then, really filled the room for a second. Packed it into my usual piece, nothing fancy. Just wanted a straightforward experience to see what it was all about.
The Experience Itself
Took the first hit. Taste was pretty much like the smell – lemon zest right upfront, followed by that sweeter, almost doughy flavor on the exhale. Smooth enough, didn’t make me cough my lungs out or anything.
The effects started creeping up kinda quick, maybe within 5 or 10 minutes? Wasn’t a sudden rush, more like a gentle wave washing over me. Felt it behind the eyes first, that little pressure, you know? Then this feeling of uplift just started spreading. Definitely felt more floaty and happy. My mood just kinda brightened up considerably.
It wasn’t super heavy mentally, though. I could still think straight, follow conversations, watch a movie. Didn’t get totally spaced out. It was more like… things just felt lighter, more amusing. Had a nice relaxing vibe in the body too, but not couch-lock heavy. I could still get up and grab a drink without feeling like I was moving through mud. It was a nice balance, really.
- Mind felt clear but cheerful.
- Body felt relaxed but not lazy.
- That lemon taste stuck around for a bit.
Final Thoughts
The main effects lasted a solid couple of hours, I’d say. Then it gently tapered off, no sudden crash or feeling groggy afterwards, which was great. Just felt calm and content. Overall, yeah, I liked Lemon Cookies. It lived up to its name with the smell and taste, and the effects were really pleasant. Good for chilling out in the evening without getting completely knocked out. Definitely something I’d grab again if I saw it around.
